Farmington Hills, Mich. (October 28, 2009)---John Hilu, M.D., has joined the medical staff at Botsford Hospital.
Dr. Hilu is board certified in Surgery and Thoracic Surgery. He is a member of the Wayne County Medical Society, the Michigan State Medical Society, the Detroit Surgical Association and the Society of Thoracic Surgeons.
Dr. Hilu practices at Greater Michigan Cardiovascular Surgeons located at 18181 Oakwood Blvd., Suite 400 in Dearborn. The office number is (313) 436-2422.
Dr. Hilu received his medical education from Wayne State University in Detroit. He completed an internship and residency in General Surgery at St. John Hospital and Medical Center in Detroit. Dr. Hilu also completed a Cardio-Thoracic Surgery residency at the Detroit Medical Center and a Cardiovascular Surgery fellowship at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak. He had special concentrated training in mitral valve surgical repair at Brousais Hospital in Paris, France.
