Novi, Mich. (October 6, 2009)---The Botsford Center for Health Improvement is hosting a presentation with Denise Marecki, R.D., on the relationship of diet and cancer. The free event will be on Monday, October 12 from 6 to 7 p.m. at the Novi facility.
Marecki will discuss the best foods to eat, such as those containing antioxidant minerals and vitamins, to prevent cancer and those foods that should be avoided. Cancers to be discussed are breast cancer, colon cancer, and others.
After the seminar, the Botsford Center for Health Improvement will hold its new Self Defense for Women course. The course begins October 12 at 7 p.m. and meets every Monday for 8 weeks. The cost is $80. Learn important concepts regarding safety, self-confidence and self-preparedness to prevent and protect yourself from an attack.
