Botsford News Release
Farmington Hills, Mich. (August 24, 2009)---What makes a Botsford Hospital physician special? This year, The Botsford Foundation---the fundraising arm of the not-for-profit hospital---sent a letter to patients asking them that very question. The mailing also gave patients a chance to make a charitable donation to Botsford to honor their physicians. Patients’ warm responses confirmed that Botsford physicians are committed to excellence and quality in the delivery of personal and compassionate health care. Below are some of the many tributes pouring in from patients to the Honor Your Physician program. Each has given permission to Botsford to share their words publicly.
“Dr. Eric Kovan is an excellent physician. He truly cares for his patients’ overall well-being. Another excellent part of his practice is the timeliness! Perfect, I never have to wait!” writes Arneta Smith of Redford.
“Dr. Benjamin Rossi is truly an outstanding, caring and very knowledgeable doctor. To our family he is the very best, a gift to mankind,” notes Evelyn Murray, who lives in Hudson.
“Dr. Marshall Solomon is so amazing! His talents and bedside manner are unbelievable! He is such a skilled doctor,” writes Mary Cyburt, a Novi resident.
“Dr. Peter Schoeps is so thorough in his checkups and so kind in his manner. He is the best doctor I have ever had,” praises Carol Remington of Farmington.
“To a great physician and a great man who has made a difference in every baby, child, teenager and family that he meets and treats. Thank you, Dr. Henry Marcus!” from the Buatti family of Farmington Hills, including children Roman, age 9, Sofia, age 7, and Dominic age 4.
“Dr. Carolyn Nelson is more than a doctor; she is a friend whose advice and help I appreciate. She always has time to listen to my concerns, and I feel very valued as a patient,” explains Vicki Petersmarck, a Southfield resident.
