Novi, MI (April 6, 2009)--- The Botsford Center for Health Improvement has joined the social media site, Facebook. Members of the community can now become a fan of the Botsford Center for Health Improvement Facebook page and learn about the facility, upcoming programs and how to become a member. Facebook users can also post health and fitness questions and receive responses from Botsford’s fitness experts.
More than a health club, the Botsford Center for Health Improvement offers a comprehensive wellness approach integrating fitness, lifestyle and behavior management with medical and clinical practices. The Botsford Center for Health Improvement is part of the Botsford Wellness Complex that also includes the Total Rehabilitation and Athletic Conditioning Center (TRACC). TRACC offers a full array of physical therapy and sports rehabilitation programs and is part of Botsford Hospital’s Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation program.
Botsford Hospital, an independent 330-bed community teaching hospital in Farmington Hills, Mich., was founded in 1965. Nationally recognized for quality, safety and medical education programs, Botsford has received the 2007 Governor’s Award for Improving Patient Safety and Quality of Care in the Hospital Setting, and, in 2007, a three-year recertification as a Chest Pain Center from the Society of Chest Pain Centers.
