Farmington Hills, MI (March 19, 2009)--- Derek Bair, M.D., has joined the medical staff at Botsford Hospital.
Dr. Bair, board certified in Pediatrics and Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine, is an Assistant Clinical Professor at Michigan State University. He is the Chairman of the Newborn Screening Advisory Committee for the Michigan Department of Community Health. Dr. Bair is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and a member of the American Medical Association and the Michigan State Medical Society.
Dr. Bair received his medical education from Wright State University School of Medicine in Dayton. He completed an internship and residency in Pediatrics at the Medical College of Ohio in Toledo. Dr. Bair also performed a fellowship in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas.
