Farmington Hills, MI (April 29, 2008)--- Patricia Siegel, CRNA, has been named manager of the Anesthesia Department at Botsford Hospital. Siegel will be responsible for the daily staffing of 10 operating rooms and four endoscopy suites, as well as making sure needs are met in obstetrics and the cardiac catheterization lab.
Siegel and her staff work as a team with the anesthesiologists providing safe and comfortable care. Ongoing education is provided to the staff as new procedures, drugs or equipment are introduced. Botsford supports the clinical education of anesthesia students from Wayne State University and Oakland University.
Most recently, Siegel was a staff CRNA at Botsford. Prior to her work at Botsford, she was the CRNA Leader at Henry Ford West Bloomfield Outpatient Surgery Center. Siegel received a Master’s of Science in Nurse Anesthesia from U of D Mercy- Henry Ford Hospital.
