Farmington Hills, MI (March 25, 2008)--- Are you thinking about having a baby? Don’t know what to expect? Botsford Hospital is offering a workshop for couples that are deciding about having a baby.
The program will highlight the cost of having a baby, emotional/psychosocial adjustments, change in couple dynamics, preconception health, what to expect when you are expecting, choosing a health care provider, what neonatal and prenatal services are, how to optimize chances of getting pregnant, providing a healthy outcome for baby and mother, and more. A tour of Botsford’s New Beginnings Maternity Center and dinner will be provided.
Caroline Schairer, RN, MSN, says, “Adding a baby to your family dynamic can be a big adjustment to couples. This workshop will help guide you and your partner about what you can expect during pregnancy and once your baby is born.”
Botsford’s Great Expectations workshop will be held on Wednesday, April 16 from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. in Classroom 2 East A at Botsford Hospital located at 28050 Grand River Ave. in Farmington Hills.
