Farmington Hills, Mich., January 21, 2008 – Botsford Hospital, in Farmington Hills, has promoted Julie Pacheco-Smith to director of its onsite childcare center. Most recently, Pacheco-Smith worked as lead teacher in the center’s toddler room. Her 22 years of professional experience includes working at other childcare centers and running a home-based daycare program then a preschool program. She holds an undergraduate degree in speech and hearing sciences from Michigan State University and a graduate degree in family and child development from Eastern Michigan University.
