CDS Foundation Event Supports Botsford Hospital Foundation

Farmington Hills, MI (January 16, 2008)--- The Botsford Hospital Foundation will once again benefit from an annual charitable event that raises thousands of dollars to support several health care facilities and programs.  The CDS Foundation will host the 15th Annual Wild Game Benefit Dinner on Friday, January 25 at the Laurel Manor in Livonia.  All proceeds received by The Botsford Foundation will be directed to the Botsford Cancer Center scheduled to open this fall.

The event will take place from 6:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. and includes dinner, open bar, silent auction, live auction, raffles, casino games and prizes.  Approximately 650 people attended last year’s Wild Game Dinner, which raised around $20,000 for charities that benefit cancer patients.  Last year, The Botsford Foundation was selected as one of the charities and received $5,000 toward the Botsford Cancer Center.

“Through the years, the CDS Foundation has raised money for so many good causes throughout the community,” says, Margo Gorchow, Executive Director of The Botsford Foundation.  “We appreciate their support for Botsford Hospital’s new cancer center and are looking forward to attending the event again this year.”

Tickets are $70 per person.  The cost includes a premium open bar until 11:30 p.m., hors d’oeuvres and a family-style dinner.  For more information, please call (734) 462-0770 or visit the CDS Foundation web site at CDS Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that holds community events that raise funds to support local charities.  All proceed from CDS Foundation programs are directed to charities without any administrative costs.
