Botsford Welcomes Metro Detroit's First Baby of 2008

Farmington Hills, Mich., January 2, 2008The first baby of the New Year in metro Detroit was born yesterday morning at Botsford Hospital when a Redford Township family welcomed its new addition. A healthy baby girl named Sydney Jacqueline Trout weighing exactly eight pounds was born to Vicki Trout, 36, at 12:12 a.m. Proud father, Matt Trout, was on hand to support his wife at the delivery of their first child.
