Dr. Schouten, a Beverly Hills resident, is licensed in Psychology by the State of Michigan and is a member of the American Psychological Association.

Dr. Schouten completed her Bachelor of Arts in Special Education for the Emotionally Impaired from Michigan State University and received her Master of Arts in Education of the Learning Disabled from Grand Valley State University. She also received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from University of Detroit Mercy.
