Farmington Hills, MI (September 19, 2006)--- Michael Keefe, D.O., has been named Program Director of Botsford General Hospital’s new nephrology fellowship program.
With this new position, Dr. Keefe will be responsible for providing a complete training program in nephrology and assuring that the fellowship program is of the highest quality standard. A nephrologist specializes in the care and treatment of patients with kidney and related disorders.
Dr. Keefe says, “The new nephrology fellowship program is a wonderful opportunity for the hospital in order to recruit and maintain the best young doctors. I am thrilled to be a part of this program and know with the talents the new fellows bring, Botsford will continue to increase its high standard of patient care.”
Dr. Keefe completed his medical internship and residency at Detroit Osteopathic Hospital. He also completed a renal fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic and three years in the U.S. Army Medical Corps.
