Farmington Hills, MI (June 23, 2006)--- Botsford General Hospital, a premier teaching hospital affiliated with Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine, has more than 190 dedicated teaching faculty members who educate physicians during their post-graduate clinical training. Each year, residents and interns honor certain instructors who are dedicated to helping young physicians grow and succeed in the medical field. Robert Boorstein, D.O., General Surgery; Mark Cynar, D.O., Emergency Medicine; and Robert McMichael, D.O., Internal Medicine; received the Trainer of the Year Awards in their medical specialties. David Lang, D.O., received the Robert F. Schirmer Educator of the Year Award. The physicians were recognized at Botsford’s annual graduation dinner last week.
