Farmington Hills, MI (May 31, 2006)--- Botsford General Hospital is offering its annual Allen Zieger Memorial Lecture Series on November 17 and 18 at the Sheraton Detroit Novi Hotel. The theme of this series will be “Bone and Joint Disease for Primary Care 2006,” and will focus on the latest techniques and recent advances in the treatment of bone and joint disease in the primary care office.
Some of the featured topics include shoulder injuries, hand disorders, botox for chronic pain, rheumatology issues, osteoarthritis and advances in orthotics. For the first time, the lecture will include an optional, hands-on workshop demonstrating injections of the shoulder and knee. This exciting workshop will allow physicians the opportunity to practice and learn injection methods on shoulder and knee models.
Botsford designates this continuing medical education activity for a maximum of 22 hours of category 1-A American Osteopathic Association CME credits and for a maximum of 20 hours of category 1 of the Physician’s Recognition Award of the American Medical Association.
