Farmington Hills, MI (May 15, 2006)--- Keith A. Johnstone, M.D., has joined the medical staff at Botsford General Hospital. He was previously on staff at Botsford from March 1993 to December 2001.
Dr. Johnstone, a Bloomfield Hills resident, is board certified in Cardiology and Internal Medicine. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, a Fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians, a Fellow of the Society of Cardiac Angiography and Interventions, and a Fellow of the American Society of Angiology. In addition, he is a lifetime member of the Association of Black Cardiologists.
Dr. Johnstone has a private practice located at 20905 Greenfield Road, Suite 707 in Southfield. At the end of July, he is planning to relocate his office to 26206 West 12 Mile Road, which is also in Southfield. Dr. Johnstone received his medical education from The University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and performed his internship at Henry Ford Hospital. He completed his Residency in Internal Medicine at Cottage Hospital in Santa Barbara, California and a Cardiology/Interventional Cardiology Fellowship at Good Samaritan Medical Center in Phoenix. He was the Director of Cardiology for the Metro Medical Group in Detroit from 1992-1996 before going into private practice.
