Quality & Safety Information
Hospital Performance. Smaller Size. Big Results.
Botsford Hospital takes quality and patient satisfaction very seriously. We voluntarily share quality of care information so that you can take a broad look at the quality of our hospital services. We are committed to improving patient care and one of the many ways we do so is to review clinical outcome measures and patients’ experience at our hospital.
As always, we encourage you to talk with your physician about the variety of factors that impact patient care.
We also encourage you to review the following websites to learn more about what clinical strengths we provide.
Hospitalcompare.gov -- This website is the result of a collaboration involving hospital groups, consumer representatives, physician and nursing organizations, employers and payers, oversight organizations and government agencies dedicated to working with hospitals to collect and make public information about quality of care and patient satisfaction.
mha.org. -- Since 2003, Michigan hospitals, as part of the Michigan Hospital Association, have developed a groundbreaking program called the Keystone Center for Patient Safety & Quality. The goals of this program are to improve the quality of patient care delivered bedside and reduce medical errors on evidence-based best practice.
mihospitalinform.org -- Launched in January 2008, this informational website provides patients, families, employers and others data on charges, payments and quality of care at Michigan hospitals to help empower consumers in their health choices.
gdahc.org from the Greater Detroit Area Health Council. Go to the Public Performance Report, Hospital Performance.
At Botsford, we constantly work to improve patient care through many ways. Feel free to talk further with us about other processes for improvement.
